Brandywine Apartments

Unit G52 (For Lease: 1 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom):
Brandywine Unit G52 is a second-floor/2-bed/2-bath condominium in the Brandywine Apartments neighborhood, located on the southeast edge of the UF campus area. With approximately 1250 sq. ft., the unit...
has ample living space, and the present listing offers an individual bedroom and bathroom, all utilities included, for $750/month. The immediate neighbors are agreeable and quiet, as are the unit and surrounding neighborhood, day and night.

------------

Building G Exterior:
- Built in 1985, the exterior of Brandywine building G has just received a brand new roof in the autumn of 2024, an exterior detailing in winter of 2024-2025, and plans are being made for new pavement to be laid. Further updates and renovations for my unit are in the works, including a general repainting of the interior. The G52 mailbox is immediately across the parking lot.

Parking / Transportation:
- Ample Parking in front of Unit
- Inbound and Outbound Brandywine Neighborhood Bus Stops are located at the entrance of the Brandywine Neighborhood, a four-minute walk north of the Unit; Busses 1, 12, and 38 provide regular, UF enrollment-included transport services directly to main campus and other bus transit hubs. The Bus trip from Brandywine to The Hub (central UF campus) is about 10-15 minutes. (I typically only need to drive about 5-7 miles a week, most of which are to and from church on Sunday, because the bus service provides all I need to attend to my classes and on-campus work.)

Noteworthy Surroundings:
- Main Gainesville Shopping Center (<5-minute drive down Archer Road)
- UF Meat Processing Center / Meat Shop (<5-minute drive up Archer Road) (Regardless of where you choose to live, you should visit this shop if you like fresh meat at decent prices.)
- Shands Hospital (<5-minute drive up Archer Road)

Other Notes:
- (!) Interested potential lessees must pass a background check with the neighborhood administration to become a Brandywine Neighborhood resident.
- Some other members in adjacent buildings in the neighborhood smoke cannabis. I know this is not unique in Gainesville, but I want you to know, as on some evenings and weekends it can be smelled in the parking lot.
- No Pets
- No Smoking/Vaping
- No Illicit Substances

------------

Me (Resident):
- UF Grad Student (History Department)
- I will be living here in Gainesville for the next 4 years for my graduate program, and would welcome semesterly, yearly, or multi-year lessees.
- Christian (Presbyterian)
- Allergies: Cats, Dogs, Cannabis, Ragweeds
- Likes: Reading, History, Archaeology, Foreign Languages, Cooking, Good Company and Conversation, and Going to Church
