Alight

I’m subleasing my fully furnished bedroom with a private bathroom in a 4×4 at Alight Gainesville from May 6 to August 2. The unit is on the ground floor with a door that opens directly to the parking lot, so unloading groceries, bikes, or luggage is... very easy.

Inside your room you’ll find a bed, desk, dresser, and a walk-in closet. You have your own bathroom, and the apartment comes with fast Wi-Fi, A/C, and an in-unit washer and dryer. The shared living space includes a couch set, coffee table, dining table, and a full kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a large pantry.

Alight’s amenities include: an outdoor area with hammocks and grills, a pool, a 24-hour fitness center, quiet study lounges with computers and printers, a mailbox for the unit, bike racks in the garage, and gated key-fob entry. Several RTS bus routes stop right outside, and campus is a short walk or bike ride away.

Rent is $500 per month for June and July, and the rest of May is free. Internet, trash, and all amenities are included. Typical utilities run about $50 for electricity and $17 for water, billed through the portal. Parking is available for $45 a month. There’s no security deposit—just Alight’s one-time $200 lease-transfer fee.

If you’re interested, email with a quick introduction and your preferred move-in date. I’ll put you in touch with the leasing office, you’ll complete their standard application and pay the transfer fee, and then you can pick up your keys and move in! Also please check out the video I added of a tour of the shared area and bedroom!
